Department/Unit: Colorectal Surgery & Urology - C2 Colorectal Surgery & Urology: The Colorectal Surgery and Urology Unit is seeking a compassionate and skilled Surgical Nurse to join our team. This unit provides care for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with post-surgical procedures such as chest tube insertion, wound vac changes, and catheter care.
• Administering medications, performing treatments, and implementing physician orders.
• Assessing and evaluating patient needs and responses to care.
• Collaborating with the nursing team to create a comprehensive Plan of Care. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a professional nursing program with current NYS Registered Nurse license.
  • Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
