STAFF ASSOCIATE I, FACULTY ENGAGEMENT, TUTORING AND ADVISING, Undergraduate Advising Center (UAC) - Academic Enrichment and Advising Support (AEAS), to collaborate closely with the assistant dean for AEAS on streamlining academic support, providing faculty advising support, and serving as an advisor to students. The role encompasses advising responsibilities, programmatic implementation support, enhancing program communications, and collaboration with campus stakeholders to improve academic support for students and faculty advisor training.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as the academic advisor to a cohort of first-year students and as a secondary advisor to upper-level students.
• Advising students on course selection, resource navigation, degree planning, career paths, graduate school opportunities, etc.
• Providing individualized academic and personal advising to students.
• Maintaining records.
• Supporting efforts to streamline tutoring and academic support.
• Collaborating on developing/maintaining faculty advisor training materials/sessions.
• Partnering on developing branding, marketing strategies, and communication materials.
